Postdoctoral Fellow
Background: I am NSCA-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and completed my PhD in Exercise and Rehabilitation Science at Marquette in 2023. In addition to working in the lab, I am the research lab manager at Marquette’s Athletic and Human Performance Research Center, helping to facilitate collaborative team science and assist investigators in realizing their research goals. In that role, I also serve Marquette Athletics by conducting performance testing and assisting with applied research based on the goals of the teams, coaches, and individual athletes. Previously, I obtained my Master’s (Florida Atlantic University ’17) and Bachelor’s (Marquette University ’14) degrees in exercise physiology. The integrative nature of IMPE Lab research is especially exciting to me as I have broad interest and experience studying many different domains of human performance including physiology, strength and conditioning, biomechanics, and psychology.
Outside the Lab: My favorite activity outside of the lab is vacationing and fishing with my family in N. Wisconsin. I also enjoy attending sporting events and grilling, sometimes in combination (tailgating!).
