Charlie Chouinard

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Background:  After being a competitive soccer athlete my whole life and loving science, I am thrilled to be at Marquette studying Exercise Physiology in the direct admission Physical Therapy program! After learning about muscle physiology my sophomore year, my curiosity peaked, and I knew I wanted to contribute to its growing knowledge base. I joined the Integrative Muscle Physiology and Energetics Lab in the spring of 2024 and am excited to continue to learn more about the growing field.

Outside the Lab: Outside of academics, I enjoy being active by playing soccer and basketball, running to Lake Michigan, skiing, and lifting. I am also in pep band, the Adaptive Abilities Club, Cru, and a volunteer for the Backpack Program.
